Pupils receive a double lesson of ICT each week and also have opportunites in other subject areas to use the facilities. ICT teaching offers opportunities for children to:
- develop their capabilities in the subject, including their knowledge and understanding of the importance of information and of how to select and prepare it.
- develop their skills in using hardware and software, to manipulate information in their process of problem solving, recording and expressive work.
- develop their ability to apply their ICT capability and to support their use of language and communication and to support their learning in other areas.
- explore their attitudes towards ICT, its value for themselves, others and society, and their awareness of its advantages and limitations.
Year 8 Video
In Year 8 the children get to create a video of their choice. They control the ideas, scripts, production and are only helped with a small part of acting! This year the children chose the idea of Britain's Got Talent:

Ranger Outpost
We have upgraded our ICT at the school and each child is now provided with a personal login ID which they use to access their work from anywhere in the school and also at home.
