Instrumental Concerts

On Monday and Tuesday of the final week before half term two wonderful evenings of musical entertainment took place.  Pupils performed on an array of instruments in over three hours of excellence.

The age of the performers varied from the very youngest in our community to the very oldest.  Many had been playing their instruments for a number of years whereas others had only begun lessons this term.

The standard of all the performers was very impressive indeed.  The commitment, hard work and dedication from all concerned was staggering.  What was perhaps the most obvious element of both evenings though was the enormous enjoyment that all the performers showed.

I would like to express my thanks to the audiences for their warm support on both evenings, to all the peripatetic teachers for their hard work and their presence on the nights, to Mrs Janman for setting such high standards to which the children aspire and, of course, to the excellent performers themselves.
