
LEAP FOR LEPRA
Energy was not in short supply, even on the last day before half term, as the team from LEPRA came to take an early morning exercise class!
Even the teachers showed some dazzling steps (above, Mrs Jones demonstrates how it should be done). Years 5 & 6 (below) jumped around with vigour...
...and even Year 8 (below) (and after some initial reluctance) couldn't help but get down to the beat...
LEPRA is a British organization whose mission is to restore health, hope and dignity to young people affected by leprosy and other diseases of poverty. LEPRA currently works in 9 countries including Angola, India and Brazil with projects covering a combined population of 300 million. The fitness session was to raise money for the charity.
