French Trip: vendredi - à la ferme

In between our morning and afternoon activities were what were described as 'small jobs'.  Friday's 'small job' was to go and feed the animals.  Unfortunately the chickens didn't quite seem to understand that this was a benevolent visit...

Clearly the chickens needed a more forceful approach...

...they were going to get fed, whether they liked it or not.  Fortunately there were some friendlier creatures on the farm...

which delighted many...

..though not everyone looked quite so comfortable with these large, wild creatures...

Generally though, it seemed to be the rabbits and guinea-pigs that were more nervous...

 This particular 'activity' proved a very popular one...

 ... and there were many requests to take the animals home.
