All their fabulous work will appear on these pages, the first of which, below, is the superb work of Yr6 poetry winner Max Bendall:
The Anaconda
The river is an anaconda!
Its slimy, slick, scaly body
Slithers silently through
the jungle of mountains,
searching for the sea.
It hisses over stones,
pours down waterfalls,
glides along vast wetlands.
The anaconda swiftly
slides through deep canyons
calmly slipping
between lush verdant reeds.
Constantly continuing
its everlasting odyssey
towards the ocean.
