THURSDAY JAN 14th

At present we are expecting to open the school at 10:00 tomorrow but please DO NOT travel until this is confirmed.    There is still snow around and the roads will be frozen first thing.  Doug has worked on the paths at school today and we will, weather permitting, ensure that they are clear tomorrow before pupils arrive.

Apologies for the late notice today.  I was forced to abandon my vehicle and walk in to school which obviously took considerably longer than I would have liked.  Other local schools were also intent on opening but decided to close around 8:00 this morning.  The severity of the conditions and particularly the poor road conditions have taken many by surprise.

I shall make an extra-early start on my walk in tomorrow to ensure that you are informed as to whether we are open or not at the earliest opportunity. If tomorrow is anything like today, the roads should be clear by lunch time at the latest.

There will be no Breakfast Club tomorrow.
