Tony Mitten Visit

The school was truly fortunate to have the poet Tony Mitten visit on Tuesday of this week.  The children were mesmerized by his performances of his own work and joined in with great enthusiasm.

Tony worked as a primary teacher to the age of 49 but then he began to spend 2 or 3 days a week working at his writing.  He now writes full time and is very successful, having published over 80 titles for children.
